DIFFERENCE BETWEEN HERD, FLOCK AND SWARM


Word ‘herd’ is used for group of large animals, for examples domestic animals like cattle, pigs and wild animals like lions, deer etc.

A ‘flock’ is a group of similar animals together, especially birds, sheep, goats.

A ‘swarm’ is large group of insects etc., flying about together.
