EFFIGY
 
Meaning: A sculpture or model of a person.

Synonyms: Statue, sculpture, figurine. Carving.

Usage
1)  As soon as the citizens learned their brutal leader was dead, they burned an effigy of image.
2) When the racist group learned the civil rights leader had won an international award, they burned an effigy of him a cross.
3) To express their rebellion, the military prisoners set fire to an effigy of the captor’s flag.
